ABOUT HEMMING BIRDS
Hemming Birds was founded in 2014 by Yana Wieckowski on the desire to create beautiful, well-made, functional, machine washable goods for babies, kids, and parents. A lifelong crafter and lover of all things DIY, Yana discovered her love for making baby products in the months leading up to the birth of her first nephew. Shortly after, during a conversation with her sister-in-law about the pros and cons of all the bibs they’d tried, the “Charlie Bib” was born. After becoming a mom herself in late 2012, Yana took the leap and launched HB with a successful Kickstarter campaign.
Since then, Hemming Birds has continued to launch new products, including the multipurpose, machine-washable HB Clutch and a collection of heirloom fabric bows, has earned a loyal following of customers, and has created a retail presence around the United States. Still true to its founding, all HB products are designed and handcrafted in Charleston in small batches from only the highest quality, responsibly sourced materials.
